LDK GP chief Arben Gashi has announced that next Monday it is set to hold sessions in which the Kosovo Republic budget for 2025 will be discussed.
On Monday a session with the only point of the agenda, discussion on the 2025 budget. Today we're going to continue last week's session, but we're going to see if LVV will be present, we're going to be present and we're going to show our concerns”, he stressed.
He has declared they will give their remarks, and if they are taken into account they will see the budget vote as the possibility.
We don't vote the budget. We'll give our notes and if they're taken into consideration, then we'll see as an opportunity. It has two legal and constitutional problems, which the Kosovo government has wrongly proposed to”, Gashi has declared after the chairmanship meeting.
The AAK's GP chairman has also stated that his party will not vote on the budget for 2025.
“We don't vote, we don't support it, and we vow to review it in the next government and the AAK's position in the next government is tied to two topics on that of wages and capital projects.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has not yet been declared on this issue.
There is no way this law could even improve, to which this would take at least 50 amendments to regulate wage work in the public system. We don't vote this budget”, Tahiri has declared.
It's a budget that we'll be strongly opposed to. And it is the budget that should be revised in March of next year. The best of this work is that on February 9th are elections, and after February 9th, the new government has to review this budget”, he stressed.
Vetevendosje Movement GP chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila has declared that her party has enough support to adopt laws and decisions, including the budget proposed by the Kurti Government, without needing opposition support.
The budget for 2025 is expected to be discussed in the Assembly on Monday, November 11th.
Kusari-Lila has added that it is not the first time the opposition has not participated in adopting the draft budget during this mandate.
There's nothing new. If you look at the opposition model, they have not participated in any of the approvals that took place during this legislature. We, yes, have the parliamentary majority, as you have seen at the previous polls. We can pass laws and other decisions. As for the opposition, I have something to add to the”, Kusari-Lila said after the Assembly of the Parliament's Headship.
