Involving the State Reserve scandal and an investigative process against him has not become an obstacle to the promotion of Irfan Libovica.
On Thursday, it is recommended to be selected in the position of director of an important unit within the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Enterprises.
Lipovica, arrested in August last year under suspicion of terns with state reserves, has qualified for the position of director General of Accreditment at MINT, a trade ministry document shows.
Based on MINT Human Resources Management Unit announcement, Irfan Lipovica has qualified for the position of General Director of Accredition before the other candidate on the narrow list, Arben Sahiti.
Lipovica has been recommended for the director's position with a total of 89.8 points reached in the writing and interview tests. His counter-Candidate Arben Sahiti is estimated at 81.4 points in total.
Libovica's promotion means he will lead the directorate responsible for accrediting state and private labs.

Irfan Lipovica is one of two Trade Ministry officials who were arrested for abuses with state reserves last year.
The Special Prosecutor, who is investigating this case, doubts that Lipovica has committed criminal acts of misuse of official duty and helping carry out the criminal offence of the official task.
The main damage to the state budget is buying goods at a value of over 5m euros more expensive than the value of their prices on the market. This is listed by a Special Prosecutor's expertise.
The prosecution claims that the ministry had accepted only 9,947.5 tons of wheat - 52.5 tons less than the amount contracted. Oil and sugar, however, are assumed to have not been brought.
