Today it was a year when the Kosovo Special Police Units had protested before the Kosovo government with several requirements listed. Despite the past time, they remain unfulfilled, which is criticised by security affairs connoisseurs until the police union has not spoken on the subject, although they were part of one of the organised protests.
Members of the Kosovo Police Special Unit, to address their demands, had protested a year earlier near the government's facility.
The properties for the risk that the Government adopted were one of the main reasons, but in the protest, classification in separate entities and involvement in the expert list was also required.
Determined in their demands, their command was not to play with their dignity.
But a year later, their demands do not come true, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs has not responded if they have plans in this direction.
Their demands, according to former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Valdet Hoxha, should be addressed by the executive.
It's a shame that it wasn't working at all in this direction, so those demands were not approved, right about which and whose work we were proud of. It is meaningless that even after one year those requirements have not been met and the government of Kosovo should start taking them more seriously”, Hoxha said.
And according to security affairs connoisseur Drizan Shala, Kosovo police are instrumentalised by the government.
“We have seen an institutional attack on these entities that have expressed public disappointment, but we can say that the Government of Kosovo through wage increases has been used as model-up to cover that requirements have been met, but a host of other issues have not been met, health insurance, increased risk payment and payment against”, Shala has said.
Members of the Special Units during the past year had protested twice when the union had joined one of the protests.
There, the government had been announced with a list of 14 requirements, including improving working conditions in general, so that the risk for police officials would be permanent and the change of the retirement law at the age of 55. / RTV Dukagini
