Peter Shala is commanded to pay 208000 euros in damages for victims

Eight victims participated in the trial process against Peter Shala, all under protective measures.

In an order issued on Friday, a Special Court court panel has decided that the victims will be rewarded 208 thousand euros for damage.

It has been ordered to pay 100 thousand euros in vikims 1, 10,000 euros victim 3, 8 thousand euros per person to victims of 2,3,5,6,7 and 8, as well as 50,000 euros in total victims of 2,3,4,5,6, and 8.

The victim's subservator is seeking in connection with the 1] victimship: 10,000 euros for physical harm, 30,000 euros for mental harm and 60 thousand euros for material damage”

Regarding victim 3, the victim's protector requires 10,000 euros for mental damage. Regarding victims of 2.4.5.6.7 and 8, the defender of the victims requires 8 thousand euros per person for mental harm”, the head of the court said.

“S recently, the year's defender requires that a total of 50 thousand euros be awarded to indirect victims 2,3,4,5,6.7 and 8 per material damage”, the head of the panel said.

All requests of the victims' defender have been found based on the court.

Ex-partor of The KLA, known as “Ujku”, was sentenced to 18 years in prison in an act of Special Court announced in July 2024.

The Special Court functions according to Kosovo laws and currently investigates the alleged crimes of members of the Kosovo Liberation Army committed against ethnic minorities and political rivals from January 1998 to December 2000.
