The Special Anti-Corruption and Organised Crime Prosecutor has called on all media and public actors to respect the Court's decision on Task Against Corruption and Organised Crime (GJKKO), the date 22.11.2024 “for the appointment of personal security measure” for the report of the Suel Chele organisation and legislation for protecting the investigative secret.
In a report to the SPAK media, any unauthorized publication not only undermines the investigative process, but creates serious consequences for the security of the parties involved and the integrity of the investigative process.
In line with the Special Prosecutor's request to preserve the investigative secret and prevent the publication of investigative acts, the JCKKO has ordered that:
“In line with the Special Prosecutor's request to preserve the investigative secret and prevent the publication of investigative acts, the JKKO has ordered that: Based on Article 103 of K. P. The crime is ordered to ban the publishing of the prosecution's request, its contents, and the acts related to the case until the end of the investigation, as well as to prevent the full publication of this decision until the end of preliminary investigations. “Disrespecting the commandment defined at 26 of the provisions of this decision constitutes a criminal offence defined in Article 295/a paragraph 3 of the Penal Code, titled “The discovery of acts or secret data”. We explain that, after giving and taking copies of this decision by the investigating officers, the defence side has been noticed that parts of it have been made public in the media, contrary to the court order and the legal framework. All persons under investigation have been forwarded to a copy of the court's decision against signing the chip to preserve the investigative secret”, the SPAK report said.
In an operation undertaken several days ago, the SPAK issued 21 security measures -- among them for journalists, former judges and police leaders. /euronews. al
