(2 years ago)Kosovo police have announced that after several months of investigative actions, four different locations in Pristina and Mitrovica have been arrested by four people. They are suspected that “interacting with each other and with the aim of illegally benefiting property for themselves or the other person have [...]
They allegedly “interacting with each other and with the aim of illegally benefiting property for themselves or the other person, used the bank folders of different citizens without authorization, making transactions and buying various items (through Online platforms)”
“Suspects have originally been able to obtain electronic data from bank folders, using specific computer equipment and programs, have also made cloning bank folders and then used the same as they used for various services, primarily Online and physical. ”
During the operation, codenamed “SIM” in material evidence quality has been seized:
Two computers,
About 10,000 (ten thousand euros) in different currency,
Eight mobile phones,
Three cars,
A motorcycle,
Bank card cloning device,
Empty cards for cloning purposes as well as relevant documents that connect with criminal activity.
Three suspects have been sent to maintenance, while one has been released in regular procedure.
With the decision of the competent prosecutor, three of the suspected persons were sent into custody, while one was released in regular procedure. All further actions will be undertaken in co-operation and co-ordination with justice organs. ”
