Abdixhiku has added that Xhavit Ahmeti's name remains iconic in Kosovo education.
“On the 28th anniversary of the separation from life in a tragic accident of the Xhavit Ahmeti event, we remember and honour the discerning man of Kosovo's journey for freedom, independence and democracy. Xhavit Ahmeti remains a prominent activist in Kosovo's journey to freedom, independence and democracy. While his name remains iconic in Kosovo's education, as one of the organisers of the independent education system, as well as professor of Kimis at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Pristina. ”
Abdixhiku has said Ahmeti started his journey from the founding and then became an education adviser to former President Rugova.
His trip to the LDK had started since its founding, once a member of the General Council, to then proceed as a advice for history President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova. In Kosovo's first presidential and parliamentary elections, Ahmeti was elected MP in the Kosovo Parliament. His early flight left great space for the country; with its vital national and political commitment it has left unhesible traces in Kosovo's newest history. Eternal will be the memory of prof.
