Kosovo police have come up with details following the Iber-Lepenc water channel explosion.
As reported in the police announcement, following the country's examination it has been found to have been a deliberate attack.
“At the same time by Kosovo Police, the unit for handling explosive matter is under way in intensive investigation and examinations at the scene, of which the explosion/detonation has been a deliberate attack, a terrorist criminal act carried out by the suspected person”, said the report.

Critical infrastructure attack of the water channel “

Kosovo police, around 7:00 p.m., have provided information that in the country's north, in the village of Zubin Potok's Varage, have been attacked and damaged by critical water channel infrastructure “Iober Lepenci”.
The relevant police units have immediately come to the scene and, in terms of the case, have announced all competent institutions -- that of Emergencys, Water pipelines, Iber Lepenc and KEK.
From Kosovo Police and competent institutions, necessary security measures, the water flow ban have been taken, as well as the water channel's access.
At the same time by Kosovo Police, the unit for handling explosive matter is under way in intensive investigation and examinations at the scene, of which it has been found that the blast/detonation has been a deliberate attack, a terrorist act carried out by suspected persons.
Co-ordination of action on the ground is continuing by Kosovo institutions, and international security institutions have also been announced in the case.
Kosovo police, have stepped up security measures in sensitive locations and will continue to work intensively towards the whitelight and lighting of the case, for which there is a suspicion of the initial investigation that the attack has been deliberate and carried out by individual or criminal groups, causing major material damage.
Kosovo police will use all the skills and assistance of the international community to investigate the evidence and find the persons responsible for damaging the country's water supply, the supply of thermal power plants and Zubin Potok, which could harm citizens.
Together, we will try to find individuals responsible for this case and other attacks on the Zvecan police station and the municipality building.
