KFOR has announced that Latvian soldiers assigned to Regional East Command have conducted routine patrols in Leposaviq in northern Kosovo.
“These efforts are part of KFOR's daily mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo”, the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo said.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially and that it is working in close co-ordination with Kosovo Police and EULEX.
