Ramush Haradinaj, candidate for prime minister of the AAK-Nisma-Conservators-E30 coalition, held a meeting with US Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier at the US Embassy in Pristina.
As the AAK media office reveals, political and security developments in Kosovo were discussed during the meeting, with particular focus on NATO membership efforts.
“The acting plan for NATO membership remains our strategic goal, as the only prospect of ensuring long-term peace and security for our country and region,” declared Haradinaj after the meeting.
During the conversation, Haradinaj expressed deep gratitude to the ambassador and the United States for continued support of Kosovo. “I assured Ambassador Havenier that we will commit our political activities to being focused on this common goal,” added the candidate for prime minister, underlining the importance of co-operation with international allies on the road to NATO.
