Hakki Abazi: I believed at 51 %s, but these four years we've marked regress, people's disappointment is too great

Former deputy prime minister and leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Hakki Abazi, has made a summary of what happened in Kosovo during those nearly four years of government, Kurti. According to Abbas, the hope of getting better has been enormous and adds that the fact that there has been a huge recession, disappointment is even greater.

MP Abazi has said he himself had believed at 51 %, however, according to him, Kosovo today is at the peak of the crisis due to a lack of cohesion for how collectively and as a society we should move forward.

Ahaz says that the only success of this government run by Kurti is that Kosovo will host Mediterranean games in 2030.

Dear citizens,

It is coming to an end of a four-year phase of representation in the Kosovo Assembly. The task of representing public interest is responsibility and obligation, but it is also a great honor and requires much courage. That's what I've always experienced, especially since my decision to enter the political scene and give me everything I know and I can.

One of the main questions that I have long followed has been why are we here in relation to all the countries in the region, and are we often listed with third world countries in terms of quality of life and especially the quality of services we receive as citizens?

The simple answer is that we have not created enough system and institutional infrastructure prepared to bear responsibility and to act by rules and by law in the service of public and state interest. The alleged democratic system is weak and has so much porosity and insincerity that it allows referees and bypasses.

Politics and relations between the state and the person clothed with institutional responsibility are not in sync. Politics and governance have been linked to money and control and manipulation rather than vision and long-term programs, well structured and analysed by competent people with good will and faith.

Today, Kosovo is at the height of the crisis of lack of cohesion for how collectively as a society and as a state we must move forward. Dialogue has been replaced with noise, while values have been replaced by the height of the ability to benefit and harm the other. The tradition of betraying collaborators is following us back by reducing our capacity to mobilise smart and sound critical measures to give time direction and reforming and progressive processes in our society.

Because hope was enormous, disappointment has been even greater for the past four years, we marked the minimum progress limit, not to say that we've scored the greatest regregation, especially in relation to strategic partners by having total fiasco in international relations.

I personally calculated and believed that with the government of 51%, Kosovo will complete the period of long-term transition, in fact by promises of transformation, four years were used to repeat and calculate the endless transition of a political mediocrete that all that it has done is a tendency to consist of its cleptocracy. If I repeat, we, the institutional-government culture, the form of sharing on the planet, and priorities are at least 50 years behind the developing countries in our region, of course 100 years away from EU countries.

Economic development -- there is neither vision nor orientation, we produce very little to say nothing and consume everything from neighbors to distant China with value and costs that weigh on the shoulders of citizens. Our economy, except that it's not sustainable, basically doesn't exist, economic operators, especially those producers are few and left in their power to deal with all problems and challenges even with the unfair race.

Public services especially maintenance and cleaning of public spaces, presence of trash everywhere, urban chaos, total lack of health security, and quality lowers education system, a total lack of food control, are alarming to our society. It's the cancer that's destroying our society.

This legislature dominated by a majority party has not done its job. With intent, it has been hit by the executive from the beginning by amortizing the controlling power of monitoring, blackmailing its MPs to escape account.

What has happened to the country in relation to international partners, and especially in the EU and NATO integration agenda in the face of threatening international challenges, and the breakdown of relations between the two governments -- the governments of Kosovo and Albania -- are the consequences of the wrong and tactless decision-making of individuals assigned within the four-year government media. The only strategy to govern has been to divide with the creation of conflicts and monopolise of legislative and executional processes. This strategy has produced discontent and also the exploitation of the established space of amullia and lack of control by moving public money users.

Dear citizens,

If you face statistical argument about the number of decisions, the number of meetings, the number of talks, the number of visits, the amount of money spent, these are not the indicators of positive results. The money is the citizens, they are not the Prime Minister or the minister from the family budget. The concrete results are that decisions, meetings, visits and agreements have produced and will produce in the direction of improvement, no longer speak of transformation, daily citizens' lives, and advancing public and state interest of our Republic. And if in spite of praise for the achievements of peace and all self-controls, over 50% of young people are aiming to get out of the country, and the salaries of those who decide to stay in the country are below the level of facing monthly Kosovos and facing social and health uncertainty and power supply, then governance and the government has failed to be in line with reality and live in the eternal reality created by the sheep of power. We've seen this movie many times!

More than anything else is concern and concern which is two-dimensional, one is fundamental, so it is the attempt of a man to abort and damage the health of democracy in the country by bypassing and scorning institutions, which has produced a total lack of efficiency of institutional action in all its links, as well as the full fragmentation of co-operative cohesion in society, and on the other hand serious damage to relations with international partners and therefore endanger the international subjectivity of Kosovo. This government and its leader will be remembered for:

Great promises and minor and harmful actions;

"The worthy rhetoric, and the doings which legitimize evil, and the extortion of those who are near to power,

We mobilize all citizens and political activism and for the reward of the humble and serviles;

Heavy criticism against corruption, and consumerly operating areas for corruption and benefits on family lines!

Happy 2030 Mediterranean Games. This is the success of this government.
