Kosovo's deputy foreign minister, Kreshnik Ahmti, has made this known.
“This marks another important step in the international empowering of Kosovo's passport, where only within this governing mandate was visa-free travel to the Schengen Zone, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Israel, and now even in Taiwan”, Ahmeti wrote on Facebook.
According to him, this new opportunity for free movement with Taiwan paves the way for economic partnerships, educational exchanges and cultural co-operation between the two countries.
