The document approved by the CEC specifys issues related to the submission or transport of election materials to diplomatic representations in which the voting process will be organised on February 8th 2025 and their return to Kosovo.
According to CEC data, based on the Law for General Elections, election materials related to voting abroad have diplomatic delivery status, and after the end of the voting process return to Kosovo.
Among the electoral materials sent to the diplomatic representation in which the vote is organised are: ballot boxes, ballot booths, ballot papers, badges for the chairman and KVV members, stamps for sealing of balloting, safety links containing serial numbers, the application of voter exits during election day, and after closing the polling book, voting form, data compliance form and other materials related to the election process, etc.
In this document, approved by the CEC, specifics are also laid out for Kosovo's remittances with balloting and other election material from mailboxes outside that will be opened in 22 states. Post boxes outside Kosovo serve to enable voting for citizens who are registered to send the ballot to the CEC mailbox address outside Kosovo.
Otherwise, at today's CEC meeting it became known that the period for voter registration application outside Kosovo is continuing, which began 29 August and will end on December 26, 2024.
According to the CEC, according to data through November 26, 2024, at 1500, via electronic platform http://diapsora.kqz-x.org has been accepted about 22,470 registration requirements, of which 21.067 and another 1,399 have been refused. In most cases rejected, applicants have not been photographed holding the ID simultaneously.
Also, the CEC announced it is continuing periods for changing the voting centre within the municipality, which has started 29 August and will end on December 26th 2024. According to the data, by November 26, 2024, 2,236 requests have been accepted for the change of the polling Centre (1,764 through electronic platform http://qv.kqz-x.org and 472 in the offices of the Municipal Election Commissions), of which 2,161 requests have been approved, while another 75 have been refused.
