British Ambassador Critical of Anti-Kosovo Road inscriptions: We can do better than that.

Great Britain's Ambassador to Serbia, Edward Ferguson, has talked today about interethnic reports in the Western Balkans region and efforts to normalise reports between Kosovo and Serbia. Here he has mentioned the offensive inscription against Albanians “when the army returns to Kosovo” seen in the streets of Bagorad and asked how a young Albanian living in Serbia who visits Belgrade for the first time and sees such insult
My “Embassy works intensively with minority communities throughout Serbia -- Bosniak, Roma and Albanian -- and often we bring them to Belgrade for seminars and courses. However, some of them told me that because of some women they see in the city, they feel insecure and uncomfortable, can you imagine how you feel like an Albanian youth living in Serbia who first comes to the capital and sees insults on national level or inscriptions on the walls on the inscription: “When the army returns to Kosovo<62> Of course, we can do better”.
