Payne died at the age of 31, after being knocked off the third floor balcony of the hotel in Argentina on Wednesday (October 16th).
Malik was about to begin his US tour next week starting with a show in San Francisco on Wednesday, writes BBC.

However, the singer told fans he was pushing the shows by saying: “given the heartbreaker defeat experienced this week, I have made the decision to postpone the “Stairway” of the tour “Sky” in US”.
The American section of Malik's tour was also to visit Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Washington DC, finishing in New York on 3 November.
He has told fans on X that the dates will be re-assigned for January, and tickets will remain valid for the new dates.
I love you all and thank you for understanding”, he added.
The 31-year-old did not mention the 11 dates of his tour of the United Kingdom, which is expected to last from November 20th to December 4th.
On Thursday, Malik honored Payne, saying he would keep all the memories he has with him in his heart forever.
I lost a brother when you left us and I can't explain what I would give you just to hug you for the last time and say goodbye properly and tell you I loved you and I respect you a lot”, he said. /Telegrafi/
