Voter registration continues outside Kosovo, about 9,000 voters approved

The application period for voter registration outside Kosovo is under way, which began 29 August and will end on December 26th 2024.

Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi has told Clankosova.tv that nearly 9,000 requests have been approved so far.

“is continuing the period of voter registration application outside Kosovo, which started 29 August and will be completed on December 26th 2024. According to data, so far via electronic platforms, about 9,440 registration requirements have been accepted, of which 8,716 have been approved, while another 716 have been refused. In most cases rejected, applicants have not been photographed while holding the ID” simultaneously.

“From 8,716 approved applications, 2,757 Kosovo citizens have registered to physically vote on diplomatic representation, 1,084 are registered to send the checkout package to the CEC mailbox in Kosovo, and 4,935 have registered to send the package with balloting to the mailbox outside Kosovo”, he said.
