The case of Altini and Besa companies highlights the integrity of this power in managing public tenders and money of the citizens of Ferizaj.
Both companies, operating in co-ordination with power and one with the other, have been deceiving and profiting large sums of money at the expense of their citizens and taxes.
This is not the first time municipal power helps businesses take illegal advantage, and as a result, they end up in court.
Now, we have a businessman who pleads guilty to dozens of allegedly won tenders in Ferizaj and the same one is not sentenced to prison, but to fines. So for the work that you get up to 5 years in prison, he gets a 5 thousand-euro fine!
It is unacceptable that individuals with close political and family ties benefit from millions' tenders, especially when allegations of corruption are clear.
Uncommunication and merit punishments are needed for all those who abuse power.
