Ukraine says it hit Russian military airport, explosives factory

Ukrainian forces attacked the infrastructure at a military airport in Russia's Lipetsk region and an explosive production company in the Nizny Novgorod region, Kiev General Staff said on Sunday.

The confirmation came after Russian officials and Telegram channels said Ukraine was targeting those regions in a night-diding attack, Reuters reports.

Ukraine's General Staff added it was still assessing the extent of the damage.
