Within civil disobedience, the opposition in Albania has organised a national protest in Tirana on Monday at 6:00. It requires the departure of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
According to the DP scenario, protesters will gather in front of the blue headquarters to march towards the prime minister. After gathering before the prime minister, protesters will be distributed to different areas aimed at blocking the capital's main roads.
Through this protest the opposition aims to put pressure on majority for the establishment of a technical government before the 2025 elections, as well as on respecting the country's Constitution, which, according to the Democrats, has been violated by the majority for the mandate of MP Olta Jaka.
This protest was announced as a revolt against the arrest of Democrat Ervin Saliannji for slander. Also, no calls for his release will be missed, as they have expressed in other shares, the imprisonment of Salianj is considered political.
Along with the DP in the square will be its allies, Ilir Meta, Fatmir Mediu, Agron Duka and Vangjel Dule, while Lulzim Basha, Enkeleed Alibeaj and Dadamir Shehi will not participate, as they believe this is not the best strategy against Prime Minister Edi Rama.
