Terrorist attack in Ankara

Several victims were reported in a terrorist attack aimed at the main Turkish Airspace Industry target (TAI) in Ankara's capital on Wednesday afternoon.

Unconfirmed reports said it could have been a suicide attack, according to the Daily Sabah.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlicaya confirmed that the explosion heard outside the premises was a terrorist attack, but did not specify further details and said additional statements would follow.

Security forces, ambulances and firefighters were sent to the TAI campus, which employs over 15,000 people.
