The tender trouble, the company preparing food for KSF pledges assistance until the solution is found.

From this company they have offered all the equipment they have in the barracks and the delivery of preparation and food distribution services for soldiers until a solution is found.
The “Taking to base the created situation where there is no instructions on how to proceed further after September 30th 2024, taking on the basis that Kosovo military personnel should have prepared food and be served in time according to military standards, taking on grounds that the army is the country's most important element, and on the quality of the company leader that has operated to date.
I pledge that I am willing to continue to succeed with all the professional staff I have available and all the equipment I currently have in the barracks and to provide the preparation and distribution services for Kosovo soldiers until a time when you are willing to continue to perform these services with the staff, equipment and food items organised by you. This pledge has only one purpose, so that food preparation and distribution services can continue even under these minor circumstances for our country”, the document says.

For this letter, the company says they have received no answers, but, despite that, they say they have continued with measures.
In some kitchens, they say the entrance of their staff was allowed, and in some not.
“Today we have accepted some information that in some kitchens the entrance of our workers is allowed, while in others, access is not allowed for reasons we do not know. Likewise, our food supplies, our work equipment, and our inventory, have made it available to them for several days as they decide, as well as the staff that will only be in quality of counseling and preparing food.
We finally announce to you that today that we have now made the support of all KSF kitchens in all of the Republic of Kosovo with our staff, as we have done when necessary or requested, and that we have done without any material compensation”, says the company's letter.
Otherwise, the state has been forced to find temporary solutions for preparing food for KSF soldiers, taking into account the problem with the supply tender.
Improvisation is being done by hiring students' Mensa workers to travel to the barracks to prepare food for the military.
Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia last week admitted in an interview for Dukagjin that there are problems with the tender for food supplies at KSF.
He said there have been decisions and even annulments of them, alluding to his deputy's decision, Shemsy Syla, for this tender to be declared state secret.
Macedonia said the tender for food has won a company but has not been signed, and that the tender is in internal audit of the ministry.
