Kosovo's Telekom has announced that accounts of the Private Master have again been blocked for the Z-Mobile case. It says that blocking accounts is based on unfair and politically influenced decisions.
<x0) ( Z-Mobile's side of the Commercial Court yesterday, on the date 03.10.24, the Private Master, to accept this act within just one hour, has blocked all of Kosovo Telecom's bank accounts. This blocking of the Kosovo Telecom bank accounts by the Private Master is based on completely unjust decisions, so Kosovo Telekom will continue to oppose these decisions, which are a consequence of a time and a mismanagement impacted by the politics of the time and by powerful private interests”, says Telekom's announcement.
His announcement reportedly is aimed at drawing about 12m euros from Telekom accounts.
From Telekom it has been further said that despite criminal speculation and punctuation of the contract, none of the officials and persons involved has been accountable to the tribunal.
“Sic is currently informed of the public, this case is the second largest consequence of an extremely harmful 2009 contract, through which Kosovo Telekom, until now, except it has been financially damaged by over 100m euros, has been unjustly forced to pay more than another 60m euros through judicial processes that were devised through this contract. With this account deadlock, the Private Master is intended to withdraw from the Kosovo Telecom accounts, and for Z-Mobile's interest, even around 12m euros in key debt”.
