Svechla meets with Sarrazzin, talks about control of goods entering from Serbia

Interior Affairs Minister in the Republic of Kosovo Jelal Svecla has met with Germany's Special Representative for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin.

Through a Facebook post, Svechla wrote that she has been discussed with about the performance of the recent Berlin Process meeting.

“We also talked about the extent of manual security checks for goods entering from Serbia to the border point in Merdara. Our state officials are applying this decision with dedication in order to ensure our country's security until the functioning of scanner systems “X” that will facilitate both their work and expectations at border points. I thanked Mr. Sarrazin for his continued engagement in advancing regional co-operation”, says Svechla's post.
