SBASK has warned that, along with several Pristina University Journalial Department professors, it has prepared a media education training programme for teachers in order for them to gain new knowledge of the role of the media.
Seeing that the largest students are using social media, the SBASK in collaboration with Pristina University Journalism Department professors had prepared a media education training program dedicated to teachers in order to get new knowledge of the role of the media and those knowledge to their colleagues, and to their students”, SBASK reports.
According to this dictatorship, this training is of great interest to you in realisation.
This training was licensed by the State Teaching License Council and held by respected journalism professors. This training had aroused great interest in the educators and was organized by modest means of the SBASK thanks to commitment, say volunteer, of journalism professors”, says the report.
The SBASK called on the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology to change curriculum and to make the Media Education on duty.
Now, seeing the need for students to acquire skills to cope with the dangers posed by the use of social media, we call on the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Information to change the curriculum and turn Media Education subject into pre-university. This change, enables students to be more vulnerable and to protect themselves from the potential risks posed in social media, which have a broad use of children”, is said to be further in the SBAHSK report..
