Smuggling between 10 and 15 migrants a day with a fee of 45 to 500 euros, brought an indictment against seven persons in Prizren

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, the Department of the Ra's Crimes, has filed charges against indictees S.G., A.H., H.A., O.A., M.H., A.B., and M.R., for criminal acts “smuggling with migrants”, “keep control, or unauthorized possession of weapons<3> and “Cause of total risk”. According to the prosecution's announcement, the defendants are charged with committing these illegal acts under the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK) in co-ordination.
The prosecution reports that “from the beginning of March 2023, and on until the day of arrest, defendants S.G., A.H., and M.R., organise and conduct criminal acts of smuggling with migrants”, in the same way that these defendants lead and organise smuggling Syrian migrants and immigrants from other Arab states, by conveying the same illegal routes to the Albanian territory of Kosovo, and from Kosovo territory to Serbia.
According to the indictment, they have smuggled between 10 and 15 migrants a day from Albania's territory in Kosovo, with a fee of 500 euros for transition from Albania to Serbia, and from 45 to 100 euros for transportation within Kosovo.

The defendant M.H., and the taxiists he had secured, then transport them further to the vicinity of the Jarinje border crossing, and with the help of smugglers cross the Kosovo-Serbia border, outside the border checkpoint illegally, against a direct benefit of financial benefit,” stresses the Prosecutor's communique.
In addition to the smuggling charges, the Prosecution reports that “on the 1906.23, midnight, in Pristina, defendants S.G., A.H., H.A., and O.A. have possessed weapons contrary to the law,” ending with the finding of three firearms and a considerable number of bullets during the search by Kosovo Police.
Regarding the danger to individual lives, the prosecution reports that the defendant O.A. “. It's a big risk to the lives of the people inside the apartment,” firing guns to the ground in the living room.
The prosecutor of the case has proposed that after maintaining the trial, the defendants will be found guilty and convicted by law.
