Berat Rukiqi from the LDK has shared several “explanations and public questions about Government” concerning employment and unemployment.

He added that the formalised countries in 2023 alone are being reported as new jobs.

Rukiqi has said that prior to the pandemic, in 2015-2019, 66 thousand and 240 jobs were created, while following the pandemic, in 2021-2023, 42 thousand were created.

“What is truth? Before pandemic (2015-2019): A total of 16,560 jobs were created. After pandemic, with this government (2021-2023): Only 42,195 jobs average 14,065 a year. ”

He has said the current government has performed weaker than past governments in terms of creating new jobs.

He has said that 745,000 working age people are unemployed and that of these, 64,000 are out of the labour market, while only 50,000 are actively looking for work.

Only 37% of the working age population are employed. ”

He has asked the government how unemployment is reduced and where new jobs are created.
