At the Government's meeting on the draft budget for 2025, the executive head said the promises of opposition leaders for wages are similar to humorary emissions, while his government's decisions have been called the consequence of the “responsible governance”.
After presenting the budget for 2025, Kurti said the newly proposed budget would be the first of his government's second mandate, though parliamentary elections would be held on February 9th.
This will be the fourth budget for this mandate, but the first for this mandate ahead. Meanwhile, because elections are already approaching, we are also hearing many empty opposition promises as against the value of good government decisions. For one thing, however, we need to be sure that humorist emissions and responsible governance should not be confused”, Kurti said.
Kurti said the budget proposed for 2025 is 3.6 billion euros, or 9 per cent higher than the previous year. He has promised increased budgets for the military and municipalities. /eo
