Opposition MPs in Albania protest before European Parliament

MPs from Albania's Democratic Party have staged a protest this Wednesday before the European Parliament.

Democrat MP Cupi holds an English banner that says “we wanted to join Europe, not on boats”. And the other MP, Elda Hoti, kept a banner “, let the deputy Salianji”! Apart from MPs, even some supporters of the democratic party have approached and held several banners in their hands.

Prior to the start of the protest, MEPs Gazment Bardi, Jorida Tabaku, Agron Gekmarkaj and Albana Vokshi have met with Eurodeputs Lucas Mandl and Davor Ivo Stier, representatives of the European People's Party parliamentary group in the European Parliament.
