The chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode, Lulzim Rafuna, has criticised the Kurti Government for lack of reforms in fiscal policies. According to him, businesses have not found support from the executive. Rafuna considers that Kosovo does not have the comfort of having low public debt.
While stressing that their demand was finding opportunities to increase the public debt, there was more investment in the country, Rafuna says the opposite happened.
He estimates that no change in the environment of doing business in Kosovo has been noted during this period of Kurti's government.
The “has had to have much more concrete steps, actions related to changing the environment of doing business in Kosovo, starting with fiscal policies. In this four-year term, we have not seen any changes, in terms of release from any tax, whether indirect or directly, but we have not seen any other administrative measure. There has been an urgent need for reform to be made”, Rafuna points out, the KP reports.
Speaking of the need to increase public debt, says Kosovo needs capital projects, which have an impact on the welfare of citizens.
However, the chairman of the Economic Ode says that with the delivery of tools from “The growth plan” Kosovo will benefit more.
Rafuna has also commented on the Government of Kosovo's recent decision to lift security measures for Serbian goods.
