The meeting, according to Vuciki, was “shining”.
Vuciq writes in his Instagram that the meeting focused political conditions in the region, the current situation in Kosovo and strengthening co-operation in numerous areas.
He reiterated that the topic of discussion was Kosovo and that dialogue should continue with US and EU support.
“We have also exchanged opinions on Serbia's role in the Western Balkans and Europe. With my conversationaries, I became familiar with the situation in Kosovo and expressed deep concern about the challenges facing the Serbian people every day. I stressed the need for a greater US commitment to the issue, as stronger support and more active participation in the United States can contribute to stability and security in the region”, Vuciq says.
On the other hand, the Serbian president says he has repeated Serbia's “dedication to EU integration and reforms that are needed to improve co-operation with the EU, but I also stressed that the entire region needs a stable and predictable future, with clear messages from the Union for Enlargement”.
“also stressed Serbia's economic progress in all areas, which, with the assessment of investments, was confirmed in the highest international circles. I expressed my willingness to seek sustainable solutions together and the stable stability and prosperity of the Western Balkans, as well as the hope that the dynamics of regional dialogue and co-operation will continue with US and EU support”, he says.
