Today, Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku met with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, once US envoy for the Western Balkans, Mr. Alexander Kasanoff, who congratulated him on his new post and offered close LDK co-operation on vital strategic issues for both countries.
Mayor Abdixhiku stressed the LDK's concern for the Kosovo Government's damaged report with the US, as well as with other strategic political and security partners. Mayor Obadiah assured Mr. Kasanoff that, with the formation of the new government, run by the LDK, following the February 9th elections, repairing these reports will be the issue of the highest priority.
Mayor Obadiah, too, has informed Mr. Kasanoff for the performance of preparations for the pre-election campaign, for meetings with citizens around Kosovo, as well as for the main pillars of the new “political programme, ”.
