The Ministry of Defence for KSF Action: We don't sign contracts with any economic operator, we're targeting cooks.

The defence ministry says it will not sign new contracts with any economic operator, as it will build its own capacity for preparing food in KSF barracks kitchens.

That's how it was made known in an answer from the Ministry.

Until, the Ministry's goal is that through the process of recruiting cooks, self-responsiveness is established as soon as possible, and do not depend on protracted processes.

The defence ministry's “Synnisation is that through the process of recruiting cooks as soon as we decide on self-responsability and not depending on the prolonged procurement processes as well as on the low economic operators in Kosovo that can provide such services, providing a permanent solution to a previous” problem, says the Ministry for Tv1 response.

Otherwise, KSF members are serving the usual daily shots prepared by cooks borrowed from the Student Centre, as well as the Kosovo Correcting Service. This will be a short-term transition period, until professional staff recruiting.
