Meta's arrest, Party Secretary: There may have been a scenario to eliminate him physically

Teddy Blushi, secretary general of the Freedom Party, has stated there may have been an attempt at the physical elimination of Ilir Meta, former president of the Republic during his arrest today.

At a news conference for the media, Blushi said those who stopped Ilir Meta were armed and without identifying marks.

“We do not know, but there may also have been a scenario for the physical elimination of Ilir Meta”, Blushi said.
