Meta thanks PL members for their support. The former president considers his arrest to be a kidnapping, while promising that he will feel stronger than ever after.
Meanwhile, he adds he is proud to be kidnapped by Albanian and anti-Albanians after defending the country's interests.

The Special Prosecutor, SPAK, has come up with an official response in terms of the arrest of former president of the Republic of Albania and the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.
The objective of investigating this prosecution, according to the SPAK, is to corrupt state officials in linking and implementing the CEZ-DIA service contract.
While the investigation into this proceedings was under way, the Special Prosecutor announces that on the basis of the rumours of citizens Halit Walter and Idaje Beqiri, criminal proceedings for several criminal acts have been recorded.
Following the investigation, the proceedings cited have been brought together in a single proceedings in 2024, SPAK reports.
