Assistant US Secretary for the Western Balkans Alexander Cassanoff will come to Kosovo tomorrow, while Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said it must wait until that moment to know that “what we can expect from him”.
Prime Minister Kurti was asked at a media conference on Cassanoff's visit and whether he can expect from the US diplomat “additional confirmation regarding dialogue expected to take place this autumn”.
We will welcome the senior US State Department official here tomorrow in Pristina. We'll have an appointment with him. And, you know, he's instead of the former senior official who's been to Kosovo many times, Mr. Gabriel Escobar and now with Alexander Cassanoff, I believe we'll continue our co-operation”.
“What we can expect from him, I believe we should have a 24-x1-> patience, the prime minister stressed.
The US diplomat will visit Kosovo for the first time, while with Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani has met in late September in the margins of summits held under the UN General Assembly in New York.
