Edi Rama is involved in this debate concerning reports with allies and has said he considers it a precondition for a small country to have friends.
For me, it is an absolute prerequisite, for every small country, regardless of its interest and position, to have friends”, Rama has said.
Albania's prime minister has also shared a story about the alliance with the US, citing a conversation he had with a Middle East head of state that told him about the history of the report with the US as a small country.
Rama has said that for small countries such as Albania, Kosovo and others, having big friends is pre-conditional.
I don't forget when he told me that we have God's blessing on being a rich country with underground wealth. We have also had the ability to grow from an educational standpoint. And today we are a prosperous country. But remember, we're too young to sleep quietly if we don't have big friends.
