Israel's military said on Tuesday it has launched ground operations southwest of Lebanon, extending its flight to a new area, a year after the fire exchanges began with the Hezbollah armed group.
Regional tensions, sparked a year ago by the Israeli south attack by Hamas ʹ the Palestinian group declared terrorist by the United States and the European Union, have escalated into Israeli land and air operations in Lebanon and in direct attacks by Iran against Israel.
Iran has warned Israel on Tuesday not to carry out any attacks against the Islamic republic, a week after Tehran threw a hail of missiles towards it, placing the Middle East on edge.
Any attacks on Iran's infrastructure will respond with revenge, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aracchi said, warning Israel not to attack his country, rap reports.
