Hovnier thanks Kasanoff for his visit to Kosovo, announces meetings and discussions he had

US Ambassador Jeff Hovenier has thanked the American envoy for the Western Balkans, Alexander Kasanoff, for his visit to Kosovo.

Hüvenier through a tweet at RXX said Cassanoff had important discussions with leaders and partners in government, media and civil society.

These discussions, according to him, were to improve constructive co-operation and advance the path towards the European Union and security in Kosovo.

“Thanks DAS Kasanoff for his visit to Kosovo. Important discussions with leaders and partners in the government, the media, civil society and business on ways to improve constructive co-operation and advance the European leadership, prosperity and security of Kosovo”, Havenier wrote.

Kasanoff stayed in Pristina after visiting Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina this week.

It was his first tour of the region since taking over the American envoy for the Western Balkans in July of this year.
