AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has indicated that today at the helm of the subject he heads, they have discussed the Alliance's programming orientation.
Among other things, Haradinaj says he has informed AAK members in detail of his recent visit to the US.
” At today's Alliance Headship meeting was discussed on programming orientations and pre-future agenda, and AAK's internal financial regulation was approved. I also had the opportunity to inform my colleagues of my recent visit to the United States.
During my stay in the US, the main emphasis was placed on Kosovo's application for direct NATO membership. This step represents the most important turn for Kosovo's security and key element for ensuring economic development and establishing the standard of living for our citizens, including dignified salaries and pensions.
NATO membership is a comprehensive strategy that would improve educational and health systems, as well as open up development prospects that would be a major impetus for the country's population stance, whose migration has taken on disturbing proportions.
This approach reflects the broad vision the national leadership requires. Viewing NATO membership as a response to the country's overall development, the Alliance and its coalition partners are taking an ambitious step towards a safer and more prosperous future for Kosovo”.
