Guterres <x0non grata” for Israel, denied access to UN chief

Israel's foreign minister says he has banned the UN Secretary General's entry into Israel, accusing him of bias to the country.

Foreign Minister Israel Katz said Wednesday he was announcing Antonio Guterres “persona non grata” and that he would be prevented from entering Israel, reports the Associated Press.

This action deepens an already widespread rift between Israel and the United Nations.
