When the Swiss national plays against Denmark tonight at 20:45, she will be under pressure to win after three losses at the start of the League of Nations.
St. Gallen, these memories are being revived again with the official farewell of Gerdan Shaqiri (33, 125 international matches), Fabian Schär (32, 86 international matches) and Yan Sommer (35, 94 international matches).
The three have formed the national team for years and announced their resignation shortly after they reached the quarterfinals in the summer.
As SFV reports, the three former players will be honoured for their achievements about 35 minutes before St. Gallen and take their official farewell with the nationals in a decent background.
