Fadil Geci gives a Special Witness on Communication 59 tomorrow.

Halil Geci, has announced that his brother, former member of KLA, Fadil Geci, has travelled to The Hague, where they will testify at the Special Court.

Halili has made it known through a social platform post, Facebook.

Halil Geci said that his brother Fadil's testimony will be open where, according to him, this evidence will confirm the subject of the 59 Communications.

We inform you all that you're interested in conveying our brother Fadil's open testimony to the public that we've asked ourselves from the court that the hearing would be open, but the court changed the schedule from 9:00 a.m. on Monday morning, it was postponed at 1: 00 p.m. We apologize because nothing is up to us. It seems they're still changing it, but you know our friends that our wish is to face face face-to-face with the writer of Communication 59”, Halil Geci wrote.

Fadil Geci travelling to The Hague, will testify to KLA's 59th Communications

The Prosecutor's Office Specialised Monday has issued an opening statement at The Hague Specialised Chambers.

The prosecution presented several communiqués, among them the 59th communiqué.

According to the Prosecutor, these confirm that the General Staff followed a policy of targeting opponents.

The 59th communiqué had spoken in April, 2023, and the deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo in the Kosovo Assembly, Marigona Geci, who is Gec's daughter.

MP Geci had said based on a statement by Rexhep Selimi that former President Thaci had read the text of the number 56 communiqué to him by telephone, and when he had asked former President Thaci why he had said in this communique a lie about Gani Geci, Thaci had said “to completely destroy”.

In 1998, after writing this infamous and ominous communiqué, our brother Fadil Geci had gone to Brooklyn to Hashim Thaci's house to look for clarification about this groundless and unscrupulous communique. There he met Hashim Thaci's father and Hashim Thaci's older brother, Gani Thaci”, Geci has said.

Former KLA leaders Hashim Thaci, Rexhep Selimi, Kadri Veselin and Jakup Krasniqi, are in custody in The Hague from November 2020 and are being charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Specialised Prosecutor's Office (ZPS) in 27.02.23 had handed over a less edited public version of the amended indictment in the case against former KLA leaders Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.

The published indictment has also revealed the names of some of the victims allegedly killed and others allegedly forcibly disappeared in 1998 and 1999.

According to the indictment, the crimes submitted were committed at least from March 1998 to September 1999 at some locations in Kosovo, as well as in Kukes and Chahan, in northern Albania.
