The EU is said to form association is Kosovo's duty from the 2013 agreement ratified in the Assembly.
“We call on Kosovo to move forward with the establishment of Association/Unibility in line with the EU's Drift Statatin without further delays. The EU also wants to recall that the Normalisation Way Agreement is valid and legally binding in its entirety for both Kosovo and Serbia”, said Nabila Massrali, EU spokesperson for Foreign Policy and Security for Tv1.
This EU statement was made when asked about what Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca said that Kosovo is being treated as a state by the EU and how they have obtained the right to draft the Association statute.
She has said meeting the obligations is binding for the two countries and that Serbia is expected to fulfil its obligations stemming from this agreement.
Serbia is expected to fulfil its obligations stemming from the Normalisation Road Agreement, in parallel with Kosovo, to move forward with the establishment of association based on the European Drift Stattti, in line with the plan of implementation proposed by the EU facilitator”, the EU has declared.
