Turkey's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is in Albania. He has been welcomed by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Erdogan and Rama will hold a face-to-face meeting. Later, both leaders will have a joint press release.
The head of the Turkish state will also personally participate in the inauguration of the Namazja Mosque, for which there has been a controversy because of his charge of leaders of the Albanian Muslim community, which Turkey sees linked to the Egyptian movement.
To ensure the security and prosperity of Erdogan's visit, the capital's police have taken several measures and will block several roads on his arrival and meetings.
