Britain to the Security Council: Kosovo to take into account its decisions, Serbia to play constructive role

He has called on the two states, stressing that they must implement existing agreements stemming from the dialogue.
He has also intensified Kosovo to take into account its decisions and its impact on citizens, while saying Serbia will have a constructive role.
“We encourage Kosovo to carefully take into account the impact of its decisions on all citizens, including those of non-US communities and work with its partners. We encourage Serbia to play its role in trying to ensure justice and accountability for the leaders of last year's shocking attack on Banjska and play a constructive role in reducing tensions and promoting positive relations in the region”, the United Kingdom representative said at the Security Council.
Among other things, he added that the United Kingdom is a long-term supporter of Kosovo's sovereignty and independence.
He also cited Kosovo's efforts to recruit police from non-communities and deal with conflict violence.
