I've decided to complete the wait. Starting next January 1st of next year, the Republic of Kosovo will allow the unilateral movement for ID holders from Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Kurti said in his address ahead of those present at the Berlin Process Summit.

He said Kosovo has been and will be a voice of reason and a support in this process.

“After two months, we will mark two years since Kosovo has applied for EU membership. While we declare that enlargement is back in the agenda, it is time for Kosovo to receive formal candidate status.

In the last 3.5 years, we have seen tremendous economic growth, democratic progress and institutional sustainability, managing successfully some serious security threats. Recognising Kosovo's progress and achievements also affirms the EU's commitment to its enlargement and values”, Kurti said.
