The issue of Kosovo's recognition, or visa removal for Kosovo citizens and Bosnia and Herzegovina, was at the centre of today's media conference of members of Bosnia and Herzegovina's presidency and Albania President Bajram Begaj, who was on an official visit to Sarajevo yesterday.
Although the two countries' delegations at the meeting discussed primarily bilateral relations and European integration, at the media conference, BiH Presidency head Denis Becirovic, presidency members Zeljka Cvianovic and Zeljko Komsic, as well as Albania's President Bajram Begaj, stopped on the Kosovo issue, which there is no consensus in Bosnia.
Albania's president reiterated that Kosovo's independence is “irresistibly”.
Kosovo is proven to be a reliable partner dedicated to strengthening good neighbourly relations. Meanwhile, it has actively contributed to regional co-operation and Euro-Atlantic integration processes in the Western Balkans. Kosovo's recognition will certainly affect peace, security, reconciliation and regional stability”, President Begaj said.
