Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami has spoken about Periscope following the Kurti government's decision to raise salaries in the public sector -- twice from 55 euros during 2025.

Bajrami says the Kurti Government has violated the Law for Salaries, as she says the increase can only be done with meeting this law.

She adds that the 55-euro increase is a mockery for civil servants.

The first salary increase of 55 euros is a mockery of any civil servant because the basic consumer basket has experienced price increases above 50% during this mandate. Second, any increase in wages, pensions and any use of public money in campaign time is the scheme of public corruption because it's only to buy electoral and third support, the increase in wages for the 1/2th of the cofficient can only be done with meeting-up of the Law of the Pagans, because there's no way to change the agenda of the cofficiators, which is the appendix of the Law of the Salat Law with the Budget, with the Law, there's only a difference between the value of the cofient, that is. The proposed growth today is illegal.

The former finance ministry minister says the salary increase would have to take place a year or two ago, rather than campaign time.

Paying would have to be done about a year or two ago. Therefore, in the first week, after February 9th, with Prime Minister Lumir Abdjiku, the coefytor will grow to 150 euros, MP Hykmete Bajrami concluded. /PERISCOP/
