All those supplied with drinking water from Lake Badoci must not drink it for at least two more weeks.
This is due to the high quantity of mangani presented there.
Kosovo's National Institute of Public Health says the presentation of the Mangane's added values occurs mainly at the time of seasonal shifts or external temperatures.
The introduction of mangani's increased values in surface water is a natural phenomenon that occurs mainly in the time of seasonal shifts or external temperatures, which causes dynamic movements in the lake's body, and therefore increases the amount of oxygen that helps at REDOX, reactions and change the range of mangannet”.
“Based on weather forecast information, this situation will last even for two weeks”, it said IKPK.
From the Institute, there were mangans every year, but then they were low and short - lived.
There were “Mangan every year, but low and short-term. Last year and this year, the Mangani's increased values are higher, as well as the duration is the largest”.
The “all of this is as a result of climate change on one side, and on the other is infrastructure on the treatment facility in Badoc. Getting water is fixed, somewhere 18m deep, and as such, it does not offer the possibility of changing the water level from the water layers where the level of mangan is lower”, the institute was posted.
The IKPK says that as a result of tests conducted on Tuesday (October 29th), it is understood that the mangan has value added from 0,200 to 0.550 mg/L. As a result, the water is still impervious.
Standard “Vlera according to the UA 10/2021 B.C. Tests of water tests taken today by the distribution network in the PR03-CH supply area, which supplies water for drink from Badoc Lake, result in increased mangane value of 0,200 to 0.550 mg/L. Since these values are several times higher than the VML for mangane, the IKBPK recommends that water not be used for drinking”.
The water of Badoci Lake should not be drunk, even if it is passed
Water from Badoci Lake, even if it is put to death, still remains unsatisfying, since it is a chemical, not a bacteriological, element.
So said the Regional Water Company “Pristina”, in a response to Kankosova.tv.
“Uy remains unattended. It is when the days are hot and the cold nights. Mangan is a chemical element rather than bacteriological, so water should not be heated because it is not removed from the water. But they have to get from the Autobots. We'll take other measures so that we don't have such problems”, said CRU “Pristina”.
In response, the Mangan is said to be 0.8 mg per litre in the amount of untreated water, while water addressed at 0.3 mg per litre.
“We are cleaning and washing magic and secondary lines so that there is no amount of manganin left in primary and secondary pipelines. The other recommendation is from IKKPK that we provide water for drink and food preparation through Autobots starting with the New Baidocy, Gracanica, Hevalia, Veternik, Hospital Quarter, B Street, Sun Beach, Muharrem Fejza”, said from CRUux2> Pristina”.
