Turkish authorities announced Wednesday that a deadly attack was carried out at the Turkish Airspace Industry headquarters (TUSAS) near Ankara, while media reported a major explosion in the country.
“A terrorist attack was carried out against TTU objects SAS in Kahramankazan, Ankara. Unfortunately, we have people dead and injured”, Interior Minister Ali Yerlicaya wrote on the social X network, Reuters reports.
The cause of the blast and subsequent shooting is still unknown, but some media reported that a suicide attack had taken place. Emergency services were sent to the scene, state agency Anadolu announced.
